I start school on August 31st, but I start soccer on August 17th. And I have a class with a teacher I don't like. I like the class, which is Graphic Design, but the teacher is really, REALLY strict. She triggered a few panic attacks in her class and it wasn't pleasent.
Like this one time I wanted to ask how to do this thing for the project we were doing because I was gone the class where she taught us. BUT SHE CLAIMS I WAS THERE AND I WASNT BECAUSE I WAS SICK. She mocked my art style in front of the whole class and made me feel like complete shit. After class, the popular kids, who barely talk to me or even give a shit about me, asked if I was doing alright. You could just tell how bad that was when the popular kids have to ask if I was ok. So now I'm afraid she is going to yell at me in her class. ;n;

Such a bitchy attitude from her o: She won't change, people never change, so you either file a complaint (try to convince other insulted kids to join you) to a principal, but I doubt it's gonna work, or you change you attitude and just take the knowledge she gives you, and don't give a shit, though it's hard
She's gone to court from how many complaints she's got and the judge took her side. Even the principal wants her fired. Ehh I'll hopefully live. I mean... my boyfriend might be in that class =3=

Is 'sensitivity training' in the curriculum? I thought only reform school and special ed teachers were allowed to get away with stuff like that.... is your school kinda chaotic or something?
It's a charter school, so smaller public school kinda. Special Ed teachers don't do that stuff, not that I know of. She's sexist and racist; it's like she doesn't need to follow the rules. I've never heard of sensitivity training o-o
so yay for torture.
Sensitivity training is reserved for ppl with short fuses... it's supposed to de-sensitize angry ppl, so when they are insulted, they remain calm and focused. If you like Adam Sandler, I think he made a comedy movie about it...

Teacher sounds mortally defensive O_O Hope she can chill out a bit, insults don't help anyone. I heard it said: you never steal or damage a guy's ego, because it means nothing to you, but everything to him.
