Sorry to have read about your mishap and it can be worse when other people joke about it,but I don't think they are not doing it because they're mean.You don't have to take it seriously,keep calm and if you can,laugh to their jokes(only if they are not hurtful) to show that they're wrong and that you can take what they say.Rest well and I hope you can get back on your feet again!
